Elementary knowledge (120-150 hours of lessons)
Absolute beginners are just starting to learn Greek. They may or may not be able to read the Greek alphabet or give some personal information such as their name, age, nationality, profession, likes, etc.
More specifically, absolute beginners:
- Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases to satisfy the needs of a concrete type.
- Can introduce themselves and others and ask or answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know, and things they have.
- Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
