Advanced learners have a solid knowledge of Greek grammar, can communicate fluently,and can understand and use many idiomatic expressions. From this point on,their main focus should be polishing their Greek by enriching their vocabulary with archaic words and scholarly or slang expressions, as well as learning more idioms and proverbs.
More specifically, advanced learners:
- Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning.
- Can express themselves fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions.
- Can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic, and professional purposes.
- Can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors, and cohesive devices.
